Job Description OES Equipment, part of the DPR Family of Companies, is a fast-paced supply and rental equipment company in the construction industry   seeking an experienced   Assistant Manager, Item Management   to lead day-to-day item management execution to support standardized product information, taxonomy alignment, and data governance. They will oversee item creation, maintenance, mapping activities, and reporting to support consistency across internal entities and systems. They coordinate cross-functional stakeholders and external partners to align priorities, resolve data risks, and   maintain   operational cadence. Finally, they manage team capacity, assign work, and support   the development   of team members to deliver   timely ,   accurate   outputs. Responsibilities will include, but may not be limited to, the following: Duties and Responsibilities • Manages item management operations, including item creation, maintenance, mapping, and reporting activities, to support standardized product information across the organization. • Oversees governance for item attributes and taxonomy categories, including alignment with product lifecycle management data and   required   field completeness. • Leads cross-entity item mapping activities and coordinates communication of standardized item identifiers and required updates to stakeholders. • Supports/Leads projects associated with Item Management and Taxonomy. • Facilitates recurring status and check-in meetings with internal stakeholders and external partners to track deliverables, resolve constraints, and   maintain   project cadence. • Develops and distributes weekly reporting, dashboards, and analyses to communicate progress, exceptions, and action items. • Manages issue resolution for data quality, documentation gaps, and process exceptions through closeout, including root cause identification and corrective actions. • Supervises and supports team members by assigning work, setting priorities, providing coaching, and completing performance management activities in alignment with role expectations. Required Skills and Abilities • Strong organization skills and attention to details. • Excellent written and verbal communication skills. • Strong time management and problem-solving skills . • Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a fast-paced environment. Education and Experience • Bachelor’s degree in business, supply chain management, procurement, finance, or   a related   field, or equivalent experience   required . • 5-7 years of experience in item management, master data, product data administration, procurement operations, or   a related function   required . • 1-3 years of experience leading work activities, coordinating team workload, or supervising team members   required . • Experience using Microsoft Office applications, including Excel,   required . • Oracle Fusion experience   required . • Experience supporting data governance, taxonomy standards, or system implementation initiatives preferred.
