This is a really exciting opportunity for an experienced, standards-led hospitality professional looking to take on a new challenging role. The Crown and Cushion is a high-volume site with a large full-table-service restaurant, with a medieval function hall hosting weddings and all other events, and gorgeous outside patio area. Successful candidates will have at least 2 years previous experience of managing teams of 10+ front of house staff on service.

• You know how to maximise commercial opportunities and you support your General Manager in controlling the business, ensuring it’s profitable at all times
• You will competently assist the General Manager in the planning, organisation and management of the pub activities
• You will focus on the development of staff to deliver outstanding hospitality and high customer service standards
• You will deliver on the Barons’ values and legal compliance responsibilities, and proactively lead our business objectives to help to achieve the company’s overall aim of ‘operational excellence’
For a successful application, you do need to have had experience in a fast-paced operation (food-led pub, restaurant or hotel) and preferably hold a clean driving licence.
