Assistant Manager (Continuing Education and Training) / School of Informatics & IT
[What you will be working on]
• Identify and engage new industry partners to co-develop and co-deliver CET courses for ICT-related domains.
• Identify and engage new companies that require ICT-related CET training for their employees.
• Possess the technical ability to explain ICT-related CET courses to potential industry partners.
• Conduct market research to identify
• o Emerging Information and Communications Technology (ICT) trends and capability needs
• o Industry partners to co-develop and co-deliver ICT-related CET courses
• o Companies that require ICT-related CET training for their employees.
• Support academic staff to ensure the timely development of Continuing Education and Training (CET) courses and training materials, and scheduling of staff to deliver the courses.
• Oversee and provide administrative support for CET adjuncts.
• Develop and deploy marketing materials to promote CET courses (e.g. via social media and physical events).
• Deliver lectures, tutorials, workshops and other learning activities for ICT-related CET courses.
• Track key CET metrics and generate regular, timely progress reports.
[What we are looking for]
• Preferably at least 3 years of relevant industry experience in at least one of the following ICT areas – Artificial Intelligence, Analytics, Cloud Computing, Cybersecurity, Immersive Media, etc.
• Preferably at least 1 year of relevant experience in engaging external stakeholders and industry partners.
• People-oriented individual who possesses strong interpersonal, communication and presentation skills.
• Good organisational and coordination skills.
