North Star Pizza is a 27 store Franchise that is looking to expand and grow.  This will allow for unlimited potential for growth within our company. Starting wage is $15-20/hr depending on experience We are seeking an energetic and skilled Assistant Manager to join our team at our location in Cambridge, United States. As an Assistant Manager, you will play a crucial role in overseeing daily operations, supporting staff, and ensuring customer satisfaction in our fast-paced food service environment. • Assist in managing daily store operations, including staff supervision and customer service • Oversee food preparation, quality control, and inventory management • Operate and maintain all store equipment • Process customer orders via phone and in-person, ensuring accuracy and efficiency • Handle cash transactions and maintain financial records • Coordinate deliveries and manage stock levels • Implement and maintain cleanliness and food safety standards • Train and mentor team members on proper procedures and customer service techniques • Resolve customer complaints and address any operational issues • Support the store manager in achieving sales targets and improving overall performance • Adapt to changing priorities and assist in various tasks as ne • Proven experience in food service or retail management • Strong leadership and team management skills • Excellent customer service and interpersonal skills • Proficiency in operating food service equipment and POS systems • Basic math skills and ability to handle cash transactions accurately • Computer literacy for order processing and inventory management • Physical ability to stand for extended periods, lift up to 50 pounds, and navigate stairs • Excellent verbal and written communication skills • Ability to work in varying temperatures and conditions • Strong problem-solving and decision-making abilities • Efficient time management and organizational skills • Knowledge of food safety regulations and best practices • Flexibility to work various shifts, including evenings and weekends • Food safety certification preferred • High school diploma or equivalent required
