Warley Park Golf Club.  Warley Park Golf Club is seeking an enthusiastic and hardworking Assistant Greenkeeper to join the course team at one of Essex’s most established golf venues.  This is an excellent opportunity for someone looking to develop their career within the golf and sports turf industry while working as part of a forward-thinking organisation with long-term investment plans and a strong focus on course standards.  You will work closely with the Course Manager and wider team to help deliver excellent playing conditions year-round across all areas of the golf course.  About Get Golfing CIO  Get Golfing CIO is a charity dedicated to improving lives through the game of golf. Its purpose is to create positive social impact by making golf courses and clubhouses welcoming, accessible, and inclusive for everyone.  The organisation’s vision is for each of its venues to become a vibrant hub at the heart of the communities they serve.  Requirements Key Responsibilities  Daily golf course setup and presentation  Mowing and maintenance of greens, tees, fairways, surrounds, and rough  Bunker preparation and course detailing  Operation of modern golf course machinery  Assisting with irrigation, aeration, spraying, and renovation work  Maintaining high standards of health & safety  Supporting the team in delivering excellent year-round playing conditions  The Ideal Candidate  We are looking for someone who:  Has a strong work ethic and positive attitude  Takes pride in producing high-quality work  Works well within a team environment  Has a genuine interest in golf course maintenance  Holds relevant greenkeeping qualifications (preferred but not essential)  Has experience operating turf machinery (preferred)  Is reliable, punctual, and willing to learn  Whether you are already working within the industry or looking to further develop your career in greenkeeping, we would like to hear from you.  Support From Get Golfing   Access to shared group resources, training, and best practices  Strategic guidance and agronomic support from the Courses Director  Peer support and knowledge sharing across the network of Course Managers  Investment in course improvements aligned with a long-term vision for the site  Salary up to £31k depending on experience Benefits Salary dependent on experience  Pension plan  Training & development opportunities  Free golf  50% discount on food  Staff referral programme  Location  Warley Park Golf Club, Magpie Lane, Warley, Brentwood, Essex.
