Description: Assistant Filler Operator – Temporary Full-time Position Amalgamated Dairies Limited – Summerside, PE Amalgamated Dairies Limited (ADL) is a producer-owned, independent cooperative with dairy processing plants and a retail food distribution facility across Prince Edward Island (PEI). For over 70 years, ADL has been dedicated to transforming fresh milk from local PEI farms into premium dairy products, including milk, cheese, cream, butter, and canned milk. Our products grace kitchens and restaurants throughout PEI and Canada. Position Overview: The Assistant Filler Operator is responsible for supporting the production process by efficiently placing milk into crates, maintaining cleanliness of machinery, and assisting with the wash cycles of the production line. Reporting to the Production Manager, the Assistant Filler Operator plays a key role in maintaining smooth operations and ensuring that safety, quality, and efficiency standards are upheld. Location: ADL St. Eleanors, 36 Greenwood Drive, Summerside, PE Wage Rate: $21.17 – $23.52 / hour Work Environment and Schedule: The Assistant Filler Operator will work in a fast-paced production environment, involving physical tasks such as lifting crates and maintaining equipment cleanliness. The position requires adherence to safety protocols and attention to detail for maintaining high-quality standards. • Schedule : Monday, Tuesday, Thursday, and Friday, rotating between shifts from 6:00 AM – 4:00 PM and 8:00 AM – 6:00 PM. Shifts may run later depending on production needs. • Duration : Expected to continue until January 2025 depending on business requirements.
