What Aurora Dairies can offer you Aurora Dairies are currently seeking an Assistant Farm Manager for a dairy farm near Sale VIC. There is accommodation available and there could be opportunities for employment for your partner on one of our nearby farms, if required. This role will include tasks the areas of: • Supporting the farm manager as second in charge. • Driving and upholding Animal Health and Safe Operating Procedures. • Herd management and nutrition, including calving, hospital herd care, AI/mating planning, dairy shed work and more. • Irrigation and pasture management. • Supervising staff. • Machinery operation. • Repairs and maintenance. The desired skills and experience for this opportunity are: • Extensive dairy industry experience is required for this management role. • Tertiary qualification(s) in Agriculture or a related field is desired. • Committed to ensuring a safe workplace. • Reliable and punctual and ability to take responsibility. • Good work ethic and positive attitude. • Leadership skills and team player.
