About This Role We are seeking a reliable and caring Childcare Provider to join our team. In this role, you will play a vital part in fostering the growth and development of the children in our care. Your responsibilities will include ensuring the children's safety, implementing engaging activities, and maintaining a clean and organized environment. To succeed in this position, you should have a background in childcare, preferably in a daycare or similar setting. You should also possess strong behavior management skills, effective communication skills, and the ability to create engaging educational activities. What You'll Do Responsibilities: • Create a safe and nurturing environment for children in your care by maintaining a clean and organized space and implementing age-appropriate activities • Develop and implement engaging educational programs that cater to the needs of the children • Supervise children during playtime, meals, and naptime, ensuring their safety and well-being at all times • Work closely with parents to address any concerns or issues that may arise and maintain open communication about the child's progress • Implement effective behavior management and discipline strategies when necessary • Ensure the overall health and happiness of the children in your care Requirements Requirements: • High school diploma or equivalent • Knowledge of child welfare and development principles • Ability to create and implement engaging educational activities • CPR and First Aid certification (or willingness to obtain) • Strong communication skills to interact effectively with children, parents, and colleagues • Previous experience working with children in a daycare or similar setting Nice to Have Preferred Qualifications: • Child Development Associate Certification • CPR Certification
