Mountain G. Enterprises is seeking Assessors to join our team. The ideal candidate will have experience in conducting tree inspections and a deep understanding of the risks associated with vegetation management in the context of the power grid. Key Responsibilities: • Conduct tree inspections on power lines and identify potential hazards • Communicate scope of work with various stakeholders • Develop and implement strategies for managing vegetation around power lines • Work collaboratively with other members of the team to ensure the safety and reliability of the power grid • Keep accurate records of inspections and maintenance activities. Requirements: • Valid Driver License and Clean driving record • Pre-employment drug screen and background check required • Ability to identify local tree species, diagnose defects/diseases, and determine growth rates • Understanding of utility infrastructure • Ability to read and follow maps • Excellent written and oral communication • Excellent attention to data requirements and technical detail • Proficiency with electronic devices and systems, such as mobile devices, GIS programs, MS Excel/Word • Ability to work in rugged terrain and inclement weather Preferred Qualifications: • ISA Certified Arborist • Experience in vegetation management and tree inspections • Strong communication and problem-solving skills • Ability to work independently and in a team environment Benefits: • Comprehensive benefits package including Health, Vision, Dental, Life Insurance, and 401k • Opportunity to work with a dynamic and dedicated team If you are a utility forester with a passion for tree care and vegetation management and want to join a leading organization in the utility forestry industry, we encourage you to apply for this exciting opportunity
