About Exotrail 🚀 Born from a strong ambition to reach for the stars, Exotrail is a fast-growing scale-up founded in 2017. Its mission: to develop and commercialize propulsion systems for small satellites on a global scale. We design products focused on impact, fast delivery, and continuous improvement. Inspired by the digital world, we are firmly customer-oriented and driven by an entrepreneurial spirit. We manage risks to push boundaries and achieve results that would not be possible within a traditional space model. We deploy every necessary resource to support the development of our products, whether in propulsion or in-orbit services. Strengthened by an innovative mindset inherited from our early days, we are preparing to grow into an ambitious industrial company. Job Description 👨💻 We are looking for a Senior Assemby Integration Test Technician at our Massy site. You will join the AIT department of our In-Orbit Services Business Unit. As a senior technician, you are the technical reference operator of the production line: you perform physical integration operations on spacevan™ satellites in an ISO 8 cleanroom, apply and transmit standards, and ensure full traceability of your work. You will interface directly with AIT teams (AIT Manager, AIT Engineers, Test Manager), Engineering (System, Avionics, Mechanical-Thermal, IV&V - Independent Verification and Validation) and Quality (PA/QA). Beyond technical skills, we are looking for someone rigorous, autonomous and reliable, capable of working on flight hardware with a constant focus on execution quality and traceability. Your main tasks and responsibilities will be: 📌 Perform mechanical and electrical integration operations : Carry out integration operations in cleanroom (structural assembly, equipment installation and fastening, harness routing and connection, electrical and RF connections, MLI, SSM, heaters installation, bonding, torquing). Perform in-house PCB assembly operations according to defined assembly work packages. Rigorously apply ISO 8 cleanroom rules, ESD (Electrostatic Discharge), chemical and fluidic safety procedures. 📌 Prepare and execute procedures with full rigour : Prepare operations from defined procedures and work packages. Respect quality hold points, ensure full traceability of operations in as-built manufacturing records (photos, as-run records, logbooks), and systematically report any deviation or non-conformance observed to the AIT Engineer. 📌 Perform quality controls and inspections : Carry out compliance checks and visual inspections at each critical step (incoming, hold points, final configuration). Fill in associated check-lists and records with full rigour. Document NCRs (Non-Conformance Reports) and actively contribute to first-level investigations. 📌 Ensure traceability and documentation : Maintain full traceability of every operation in ERP (Odoo) and manufacturing records: hardware configuration, software version, datasets, logs. Contribute to field lessons learned reporting to the AIT Engineer and the Industrialisation & Methods team. 📌 Support campaigns and contribute to team upskilling: Support the AIT Engineer during functional test and verification phases (EGSE bench connection, test sequence execution per procedures, TM/TC parameter monitoring). Participate in off-site campaigns depending on seniority. Ensure cleanliness, compliance and safety of work areas (5S). Contribute to upskilling future junior technicians. Preferred Experience 💁♀️ 📌 Education: technical qualification in mechanical engineering, electrical engineering, electronics or equivalent field. 📌 Experience: 7+ years of AIT experience on satellites or space subsystems in cleanroom. Direct experience on flight hardware (FM) is mandatory. Confirmed autonomy on physical integration operations. 📌 Tools proficiency: Integration and tooling : torque wren
