Description
• Partner with cross functional team to identify and drive improvements in manufacturability, yield, performance, quality and reliability for our power products.
• Lead or assist in setting up equipment, production lines and processes & implement process changes and equipment modifications, preferably familiar with AOI tool.
• Participate in reviews to ensure design for manufacturability best practices are followed. Ramp new products released from R&D while monitoring performance and driving improvements.
• Create and update detailed documentation for processes and procedures.
• Direct and manage design implementation of required process changes and modifications.
• Plan, conduct and direct complex projects or major phases of significant projects.
• Work directly with contract manufacturing engineering and manufacturing personnel and equipment suppliers.
• Prevent quality excursions, monitor process performance, and compile and analyze data to detect any process or product anomalies
• Identify and implement items for improvement including upgrades to equipment and process
Job Requirement
• 3 years or more of experience in a manufacturing field with Bachelor of Science in Electrical, Mechanical, Chemical, Materials, Process, or Industrial Engineering or Applied Science
• Excellent interpersonal, communication, collaborative and project management skills with demonstrated ability to identify manufacturing improvements, manage changes and implement solutions. Ability to work with a sense of urgency
• Working knowledge and experience with engineering tools such as FMEA, SPC, Pareto Analysis, Design of Experiments and structured problem-solving methods (8D, 5-Why, DMAIC)
• Experience delivering results to meet required deadlines in a fast-paced high-volume manufacturing environment
Preferred Skills
• Automated Optical Inspection (AOI) – Recipe creation, process improvement and machine troubleshooting.
• Automated Optical Inspection (AOI) – Database management. Good to have prior experience with Klarity software.
• Expertise with continuous improvement tools / techniques (5S, Lean Manufacturing, Six Sigma) and JMP for data review/analytical studies.
• Expertise with project management and Semiconductor manufacturing (Testing, Dicing, Inspection, Sorting)
