This role contributes directly to the restaurant’s atmosphere, guest satisfaction, and overall success. Who You Are Service-focused professional with strong communication skills Confident in menu knowledge and offering thoughtful recommendations Detail-oriented and organized during busy service periods Personable, warm, and committed to elevating the guest experience Collaborative teammate with a positive, solutions-focused mindset Veterans and military spouses are encouraged to apply. What You Will Do Greet guests promptly and present menus with confidence Take accurate food and beverage orders, including dietary preferences Serve food and beverages efficiently while ensuring quality and presentation Check back with guests to ensure satisfaction throughout their visit Process payments accurately using POS systems Maintain thorough menu knowledge to offer recommendations Communicate guest needs or special requests to the kitchen or bar Keep tables and surrounding areas clean, tidy, and stocked Assist with opening, closing, and restocking duties Support team members to ensure timely and coordinated service Address guest concerns professionally and escalate when needed Regular attendance in conformance with standards May be required to work varying schedules to reflect business needs Required to attend all mandatory training sessions and meetings Perform other duties as assigned Your Qualifications Include: Required: Previous restaurant or hospitality experience Strong guest service and communication skills Ability to stand, bend, and lift up to 40–50 pounds as needed Preferred: Experience with POS systems High School Diploma or equivalent Headquartered in New York City, Loews Hotels & Co is rooted in deep heritage in the hotel industry and excellence in service.
