Description A.T. Still University's Arizona School of Dentistry & Oral Health (ATSU-ASDOH) is seeking a full-time, non-exempt Dental Hygienist on the Mesa, Arizona campus. Duties & Responsibilities: • Direct provision of oral health services in the scope of dental hygiene practice in accordance with Arizona laws and regulations in ASDOH campus clinics as assigned including Dental Prophylaxis, scaling and polishing of teeth; radiographs; taking vital signs; documentation of existing oral conditions; preventive oral health services; patient education; traditional or digital impressions; and nutritional counseling. • Practice universal precautions and appropriate infection control. • Provide associated administrative support. • Provide chairside assistance to faculty and/or student dentists in the performance of special tests, procedures and complex treatment. • Assist with medical emergency interventions for adverse patient events. • Other related duties as required or assigned. Requirements • Registered Dental Hygienist (RDH). • Must be highly skilled in dental hygiene practice as allowed by Arizona laws and regulations. • At least one year of experience in dental hygiene practice. • Arizona Dental Hygiene License. • Team-oriented, strong mentoring skills, and personable.
