About the role:
Justteachers are seeking a passionate and dedicated Art Teacher to join a welcoming and supportive secondary school in the Bradford area. This is a full-time position with an immediate start, continuing until the end of the academic year.
This is an excellent opportunity for an enthusiastic teacher who can inspire creativity and engage students across Key Stages 3 and 4.
Key Responsibilities:
• Plan, deliver and assess high-quality Art lessons in line with the national curriculum.
• Create an engaging and inclusive learning environment that encourages creativity and artistic expression.
• Monitor and track student progress, providing constructive feedback to support achievement.
• Differentiate lessons to meet the needs of all learners.
• Maintain high expectations of behaviour and classroom management.
• Contribute to departmental planning and school initiatives where appropriate.
• Support students in developing practical, theoretical and evaluative artistic skills.
Pre-requisites:
• Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or equivalent recognised teaching qualification.
• Experience teaching Art within a UK secondary school setting.
• Strong classroom management skills and the ability to engage learners of varying abilities.
• Excellent communication and organisational skills.
• A commitment to safeguarding and promoting the welfare of children and young people.
• Enhanced DBS on the Update Service or willingness to obtain one.
• Two school based references.
