As part of our team, you’ll work with global leaders Universal Robots (UR) and Mobile Industrial Robots (MiR), driving innovation that enhances manufacturing, logistics and workplaces across the world. We sell our products through distributors and certified solutions partners, so you will work in close collaboration with these. Your responsibility is to ensure revenue growth in your territory, which you do through engaging with potential customers. Our primary customers are small and medium sized production companies of all kinds as well as large corporate companies in various industries. This new role is based in Czech Republic or Slovakia and reports directly to the Sales Leader Market Area Central Eastern Europe and covers the territory of Czech Republic and Slovak Republic. As Channel Development Manager you are responsible for increasing the sales in the channel. Primary tasks in your role will be: • New business development as well as managing the existing partner network in the territory to increase revenue and grow the business to meet our ambitious growth targets. • Travel to meet clients, support our partners, carry out demonstrations and attend trade shows; the latter in close cooperation with our marketing department. You need to have some sales and business development experience. You are strong both in working autonomously and in a team. You plan your own time and efforts with support and assistance from the team in the sales area. You are used to reporting on progress using a CRM tool and providing accurate forecasting. Further, we would expect you to have: • A strong sense of understanding of the value proposition to the end users • Experience with structured sales, plans, budgets, pipeline management etc. • Drive KPIs and action plans to achieve the annual target. Develop countermeasures to get back to budget if behind. • Advanced business acumen as well as the ability to present the concept of flexible automation to clients, prospects, and education centers. • Manage opportunity funnel, forecasting and action plans focusing on SME accounts • Experience in industrial automation, solution/project sales involving technical products would be an advantage. Full technical training will be provided, and the role is supported by a technical support engineers based inside the territory. • Must be capable of overnight travel up to 50% of time; or as required. Qualifications: • Bachelor’s degree or higher in business and/or engineering (robotics and automation preferred) or related subject • +3 years of experience in sales, previous experience in industrial automation, solution/project sales involving technical products preferred • Experience working with distribution preferred • Must have proven track record of exceeding sales quota • Previous experience in industrial automation, solution/project sales involving technical products preferred • Strong sense of understanding of the value proposition to end-users • Business acumen that can be applied at different levels of decision makers from senior management to technical support • Ability to communicate effectively, both oral and written in English and Czech (and/or Slovak). • Knowledge of Microsoft Office 365 Our final candidate will be a high energy professional who thrives in a challenging, entrepreneurial, and dynamic environment.
