Description
We have an exciting opportunity for an Approved Tuberculin Tester (ATT) to join our farm team.
Hours:
• 4 days per week (Monday, Tuesday, Thursday, Friday)
• Either 8:00am – 4:30pm or 9:00am – 5:30pm
• 30-minute lunch break each day
Role overview: The main role will be TB testing and carrying out related administration and office work, alongside a busy farm team of vets, ATT’s and AI technicians.
Duties and responsibilities:
• Working under the supervision of an Approved Veterinary Supervisor (AVS)
• Travelling to clients’ farms and performing TB testing to a high standard
• Building strong relationships with the farming community
• Ensuring health & safety of clients, colleagues and livestock (as per XL Farmcare)
• Processing paperwork using software including TOM and SAM
• Following GDPR guidelines regarding confidentiality
Required qualifications/skills:
• OCQ (AHP) – ATT qualification
• Clean full UK driving licence
• Experience with cattle handling
• Good knowledge of livestock health
• Good communication skills
• Attention to detail
• Basic computer skills (including TOM, SAM, Teleos systems)
