Description
As an Apprentice Technician, you’ll learn how to service, repair and maintain a wide range of modern agricultural machinery. No two days are the same – you’ll be developing real technical skills, working alongside experienced Technicians, and gaining hands‑on experience with tractors, telehandlers, harvest equipment and more.
You’ll receive structured training through AGCO’s Apprenticeship Programme, combining on‑the‑job learning with block release training at college.
Responsibilities

• Learning to service and maintain agricultural machinery
• Assisting qualified Technicians with diagnostics and repairs
• Carrying out routine maintenance tasks
• Helping to keep the workshop clean, safe and organised
• Developing your technical knowledge across a wide range of equipment

Experience and attributes
About You
We’re looking for someone who is:
• Enthusiastic, willing to learn and genuinely interested in machinery
• Reliable, punctual and able to work well as part of a team
• Organised, focused and able to follow instructions
• Comfortable using computers and learning new systems
• From an agricultural background (helpful but not essential)
Entry Requirements
• English and Maths will be included in your training if needed.
• Apprentices must achieve GCSE Grade A–C / 4+ or Functional Skills Level 2 in English & Maths before completing the End Point Assessment.
