Position : Appointment Setter/Telesales Executive - UK Client) Salary : £ 650–£ 1,000 (14,000 - 22,000 rand- Strong Fit) £ 750–£ 850 (16,000 - 18,000 rands- experienced) Working Hours & Conditions : Monday to Friday - UK Business Hours ROLE OVERVIEW: We are seeking ambitious, professional, and results-driven Telesales Executives to generate qualified appointments for our Field Assessors. The role focuses on engaging business owners, occupiers, property managers, and finance decision makers to identify opportunities for business rates savings and secure appointments relating to potential Business Rates Appeals under the Valuation Office Agency (VOA) Check, Challenge, Appeal (CCA) process. The VOA allows ratepayers to challenge their business rates valuation through the Check, Challenge, Appeal process in England and Wales. [gov.uk], [gov.uk] The successful candidate will be responsible for outbound prospecting, identifying qualifying circumstances, overcoming objections, and creating high-quality appointment opportunities that convert into client instructions. RESPONSIBILITIES: Conduct outbound calls to prospective commercial property occupiers and owners. Identify businesses that may have grounds for a Business Rates Appeal or review. Qualify opportunities against company criteria before arranging appointments. Book high-quality meetings for Field Assessors with decision-makers and senior stakeholders. Clearly explain the potential benefits of reviewing a property's rateable value. Accurately record customer information and call outcomes within the CRM system. Manage follow-up activity and nurture prospects through the sales pipeline. Meet and exceed appointment-setting, conversion, and activity targets. Maintain a thorough understanding of the Business Rates system and ongoing valuation developments. Represent the company professionally and ethically at all times. Requirements QUALIFICATIONS: Looking for South African Based candidates! Sales Skills Minimum 2 years' telesales, appointment setting, or outbound sales experience. Strong objection handling and closing skills. Proven track record of achieving KPIs and sales targets. Excellent telephone manner and communication skills. Ability to build credibility quickly with senior decision-makers. Resilient, self-motivated, and target driven. Technical Knowledge Understanding of the Non-Domestic (Business) Rates system in England and Wales. Knowledge of Rateable Values and how they impact Business Rates liabilities. Awareness of the VOA Check, Challenge, Appeal process. Understanding of circumstances that may justify a Business Rates review or appeal. Ability to explain complex rating concepts in straightforward business terms. IT Skills CRM experience. Microsoft 365 proficiency. Desirable Experience Previous experience within: Business Rates consultancy Commercial property Property surveying Financial services Legal services Business-to-business (B2B) telesales Understanding of: Rating Lists Material Change of Circumstances (MCC) Transitional Relief Empty Property Rates Rate Mitigation and Reliefs Key Performance Indicators (KPIs) Outbound calls completed.
