We’re looking for a skilled Applicative SQL Server DBA with a strong background in system design, SQL Server development, and a deep understanding of data architecture. This position is a key role within Global-e’s Data Department, which supports critical business decisions and manages complex financial processes — including reporting for NASDAQ compliance. Responsibilities: Design, develop, and maintain complex financial reporting solutions (including advanced SQL queries). Investigate and troubleshoot data issues, validate results, and deliver high-quality ad-hoc reports and analyses. Develop and maintain data pipelines that load data from external, heterogeneous sources using PowerShell and SQL scripts. Support the migration of complex stored procedures and data processes from SQL Server to Snowflake. Requirements 3+ years of experience as a SQL Server DBA. Ability to translate business processes into efficient, functional code. Strong multitasking skills and the ability to perform under tight deadlines in a dynamic environment. High standards in design, documentation, and testing. Proven experience with automation through scripting (PowerShell, SQL, etc.). Hands-on experience with Snowflake (advantage). Background or familiarity with financial systems or terminology (advantage). Experience working with AWS (advantage). Familiarity with SSIS, or tools such as Rivery, Qlik Replicate, dbt, or Airflow (advantage). Familiarity with AI-assisted development and operations tools, e.g Microsoft Copilot, AI-based query optimization or monitoring tools (advantage)
