Description
Capstone Investment Advisors is a global asset manager with $11.8 billion AUM seeking an Application Support Engineer to join the Front Office Technology team. You will own the reliability and day-to-day operation of Keystone, Capstone's in-house trading platform, while contributing to modernization efforts in AI-assisted operations, infrastructure observability, and automation. What You'll Do • Design and build Python-based tooling to automate recurring operational checks and reduce manual intervention • Develop and maintain Grafana dashboards and alerting infrastructure to shift from reactive to proactive issue detection • Monitor and maintain the health of Keystone trading platform and related applications throughout the trading day • Respond to and resolve production incidents across trading systems, managing communications with investment, risk, and operations teams • Contribute to AI capabilities in operational context including AI-assisted alert triage and anomaly detection What You Need • Bachelor's degree in an IT-related discipline • 3-5 years of experience in a production or application support function, ideally in financial services or trading environment • Strong Python skills for writing tooling, not just scripts • Working knowledge of Linux, FIX protocol, and SQL Server • Experience with observability or monitoring tools such as Grafana Nice to Have • Familiarity with trading or execution systems such as EMSX or Flextrade • Exposure to market data platforms, Git, and Jira • Curiosity about AI/LLM tooling and how it can be applied in an operational context Base salary $150,000–$180,000 plus performance-based incentives and annual incentive plan eligibility.
