Closed Commission for an animator or visual artist to collaborate with Jez Colborne to create a new moving image work for Lighthouse. Mind the Gap and artsdepot are seeking to commission an animator or visual artist to collaborate with composer and performer Jez Colborne on Lighthouse , an immersive live performance blending music, light and moving image. The selected artist will create a short film or moving image work to accompany a newly developed section of the show, contributing to its rich visual environment. The piece will be projected as part of the live performance, premiering at artsdepot in November 2026, with potential for future touring. The ideal candidate will have a strong track record in animation or moving image, with experience in immersive or interdisciplinary work. They will be confident collaborating with composers and responding creatively to sound, with an interest in atmospheric visual storytelling.
