Your impact at MUFG Sitting within the Treasury Middle Office team, part of the Middle Office Department under COO management, you play a key role in supporting MUFG’s Treasury risk management and control framework. Through daily financial risk monitoring and reporting, implementation of advanced analytics tools, preparation of management information reports, and strengthening of controls and documentation, you help ensure effective risk oversight, informed decision-making, and efficient Treasury operations. You also support a range of business initiatives, contributing to the continued development and success of the function. The role includes the following: • Prepare high quality and   accurate   credit and market risk reports   in a timely manner   to internal and external stakeholders (including regulators); • Preparation of Management Information reports   comprising   the bank’s risk exposures and control performance • Analyzing large data sets to produce clear,   concise   and meaningful reports for internal and external stakeholders • Provide support, expert   advice   and guidance to the business units to ensure identification, measurement, assessment and consistent management of market and liquidity risk • Ensure that reporting procedures and individual report manuals are kept up to date and further improved; • Ensure that   accurate   valuation methods are applied and reconciled with the general ledger • Strengthening the governance and control environment on reporting process in line with internal and external control requirements • Contribute to further improvement/digitization of our reporting processes, Controlling data for regulatory reporting purposes and Monitoring and observance of limits • Escalation of (potential) risk events and regulatory breaches   in accordance with   the bank’s risk governance framework • Cooperation with Compliance   regarding   country-specific legal and regulatory requirements relating to Market & Liquidity Risk.
