How You Will Make Contributions That Matter: • Schedule and perform routine preventative maintenance and   service s ;   including working with   outside contractors to   troubleshoot   and repair ammonia refrigeration   system , HVAC , water heating   system ,   and   boiler/condenser water chemical   system . • Perform d aily ,   weekly , monthly , and/or annual   refrigeration system,   facility   and building   ins pections   along with assigned work order s . • Maintain   refrigeration logs and   records   documenting   time,   material   and parts . • R es ponsible for housekeeping   of   all assigned   areas ;   inc luding ammonia refrigeration engine room, maintenance shop area,   and   chemical s/ parts   storage area. • Timely work order execution   based   on assigned priority . • Operate forklifts and aerial platforms as needed; c omplete daily Powered Industrial Truck Inspection, ensuring safe operation and reporting any concerns to maintenance   manager   or shift supervisor. • Understand and follow Good Manufacturing Practices, Saputo's food safety, quality   programs   and regulatory requirements. • Adhere to   industry practices, SOPs, LOTO   procedures   and other safety guidelines. • Promptly report all potential quality, food safety, and workplace safety hazards to   management   team. • Attend and   participates   in all required training, shift   meetings   and committees. • Work weekends and/or holidays based on   business needs and task completion timelines. • Perform all other duties as assigned. You Are Best Suited for The Role If You Have The Following Experience, Skills, and Qualifications • Ability to read, write, comprehend, follow verbal and written instructions, and possess basic mathematical skills. • Must be able to utilize manufacturer equipment manuals, troubleshoot mechanical breakdowns, and read mechanical drawings. • Must have the ability to run various computer applications that apply to the department and business to an acceptable degree, including but not limited to Microsoft Office Products, and CMMS program, manufacturing and maintenance software. • Ability to read and interpret mechanical and electrical diagrams. • Must be able to successfully complete the Basic Ammonia Operator training within 6 months of job assignment. • Basic Electrical knowledge to include NFPA 70e requirements. • Are able to meet physical demands required for the position (stand, walk, bend, stoop and climb; able to lift up to 75 pounds. • Able to work in cold environments and around moving equipment; good visual acuity with ability to distinguish colors • Able to operate material handling equipment; perform pump rebuilds, sensor calibrations, PM’s • High School Diploma or GED • 2 Years associate degree in mechanical or HVAC and /or 2 or more years of relevant experience in food/dairy manufacturing preferred. • Familiarity with Ammonia Refrigeration Systems preferred. • Familiarity with process instrumentation and process drawings, PLC’s preferred. • Ability to work flexible hours, weekends and holidays. • CARO or CIRO Certification preferred but not necessary • HMI/PLC troubleshooting skills Position Abilities and Physical Requirements • Ability to work in warehouse environment which includes but is not limited to: noise, cold temperatures, standing/walking/bending/stooping/climbing stairs, maneuvering around material handling equipment and refrigeration system consistently throughout the shift. • Physical lifting up to 75-lbs unassisted frequently throughout the shift. • Wearing personal protective equipment and following all established procedures. • Good visual acuity with the ability to distinguish colors. Starting wage $37.82 + shift differential.
