Role Summary: The Alternatives Operations Officer is responsible for executing and coordinating operational activities across the lifecycle of alternative investment transactions. The role ensures the accurate and timely execution of portfolio operations, asset servicing, and stakeholder coordination while supporting operational excellence, risk management, and the continued growth of the Alternatives business. What Business Outcomes the Role is Responsible for: • Execute Alternative Investment Transactions: Deliver accurate and timely execution of investment transactions, drawdowns, portfolio servicing, and post-closing activities to ensure seamless operations across alternative investment portfolios. • Strengthen Asset Servicing & Risk Management: Safeguard operational integrity by managing transaction documentation, collateral monitoring, and servicing requirements while ensuring compliance with established controls and risk management standards. • Drive Operational Excellence & Stakeholder Coordination: Build strong partnerships with borrowers, Relationship Managers, legal counsel, investors, and internal teams to ensure efficient execution, timely issue resolution, and continuous process improvement. What We're Looking For in a Successful Candidate: • Educational Background & Stakeholder Management : Holds a Bachelor's degree in Finance, Economics, Accounting, or a business-related discipline from a leading university, and effectively collaborates with internal and external stakeholders through strong communication, project management, and problem-solving skills • Relevant Experience & Deal Execution : Demonstrates at least 3 years of experience in investments, financial analysis, or alternative investment operations, with a proven track record in sourcing, evaluating, structuring, and closing investment transactions. • Financial & Technical Expertise: Applies strong knowledge of financial modelling, investment analysis, transaction execution, and alternative investment operations to support sound decision-making and efficient portfolio execution.
