You’ll provide coverage for the Manager – Mine Operations while leading safe, sustainable and cost-effective underground production. The opportunity • Provide operational leadership and statutory coverage. • Lead safe, efficient underground mining activities. • Ensure compliance with legislation, company standards and site requirements. • Oversee mining contractors, contracts and commercial performance. • Build workforce capability, engagement and succession plans. • Develop high-performing teams and strengthen operational performance. About you You are an experienced mining leader with strong operational and commercial capability, supported by: • Significant underground mining experience. • Demonstrated success leading mining operations and contractors. • Experience in mine design and production scheduling. • Strong contract administration and commercial governance skills. • Experience conducting contractor audits and performance reviews. • A Mining Engineering qualification and First Class Mine Manager’s Certificate – Metalliferous Mining will be highly regarded. • A strong commitment to safety, compliance and team performance.
