All-round Metalworker Who we are. VISSER is a progressive company focused on versatile products for both agriculture and industry. We are looking for an all-round metalworker to join our team. With an informal culture and an enthusiastic team of about 30 colleagues, we offer a dynamic work environment where your talents and skills are valued and encouraged. Your challenge: As an all-round metalworker, you play an important role in pre-machining steel and stainless steel from drawings. You process both thin and thick material so that it is completely ready for the next departments. You can drill, saw, punch, tap and finish. Your responsibilities: Perform drilling, sawing, tapping, punching and other preliminary operations from technical drawings Possibly perform minor welding work Provide support to other departments as needed Your profile: MBO level 2 or higher, direction metal worker, construction bench worker and/or welder A BBL appointment is a possibility You are enthusiastic, eager to learn and work accurately You can read technical drawings or are willing to learn to do so You can work independently and as part of a team on a variety of projects You have a VCA certificate or are willing to obtain one What we offer: A dynamic and stimulating work environment in a company that is constantly evolving Good primary and secondary working conditions according to the Collective Labor Agreement for Metal & Engineering, including 25 vacation days and 13 ATV days A close-knit team of enthusiastic colleagues and an informal work atmosphere where your opinion counts A 40-hour work week with varied duties A one-year contract with the prospect of permanent employment A reliable and loyal employer who encourages your personal growth Will you rise to the challenge?
