The Logistics Specialist will be responsible for initiating, managing, and controlling the movement of refrigerated cargo and maintaining required export documents. The ideal candidate should have a strong interest in logistics, be adaptable, detail-oriented, a quick learner, and possess a natural curiosity to learn more. Scope of Responsibility: • Manage ocean shipments. • Transportation bookings. • Update shipping rates and routes. • Cold storage tracking. • Ensure the on-time delivery of customer products. • Stay abreast of intermodal trends. • Update inventory, track product availability, and allocations. • Customer follow-up. • Provide data for claims when needed. Qualifications • Bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience required. • 1 - 2 years of logistics, export documentation, or refrigerated ocean transportation experience is required. • Intermediate to advanced knowledge of Microsoft office (Word, Excel, Outlook, PowerPoint). • Natural ability to work in a fast-paced environment, learn quickly, prioritize, and multi-task. • Effective organization, time management, and attention to detail • High energy, enthusiasm, and a strong sense of urgency. Language Requirements • Candidates are required to read, write, and speak English and Spanish fluently. • Additional language proficiency in Portuguese is preferred.
