Luxembourg We are looking for a Junior Backend Developer (Java / Spring) to join a dynamic development team and contribute to the design and development of innovative business applications. You will help build software solutions used daily on desktop, mobile, and tablet devices while working in a modern technical environment that encourages learning, collaboration, and professional growth. Key Responsibilities • Participate in the analysis of business and technical requirements. • Design, develop, and maintain backend applications using Java and Spring Boot. • Develop and maintain secure, high-performance REST APIs. • Contribute to the design of microservices-based architectures. • Perform unit and integration testing and support application validation activities. • Produce and maintain technical documentation. • Participate in application deployments and provide technical support when required. • Collaborate with developers, analysts, and other stakeholders to ensure high-quality software delivery. • Contribute to the continuous improvement of development practices, tools, and processes. • Continuously develop your skills in Cloud technologies, Docker, Kubernetes, and DevOps practices. Candidate Profile • 0 to 3 years of experience in backend software development. • Good knowledge of Java. • Initial experience or solid understanding of Spring Boot. • Understanding of microservices architecture and REST APIs. • Strong analytical skills and a genuine interest in software development. • Team player with curiosity, initiative, and a willingness to learn. • Good communication and problem-solving skills. Preferred Skills Experience with the following technologies is considered an asset: • Docker and Kubernetes. • Jenkins, GitLab CI, Maven, Nexus, and SonarQube. • PostgreSQL, MongoDB, or Elasticsearch. • Git, Jira, and Confluence. • Bash, Python, or Groovy. • Hibernate, J2EE, and JMS. • Tomcat or Jetty. • Service discovery technologies such as Eureka or Zookeeper.
