This vacancy has arisen within the Operations Department. Purpose of position: The Airside Coordinator will be responsible to maintain overall operational safety oversight on the airside making sure everything runs smoothly and safely at the airport. Main Responsibilities include: Carrying out airside inspections, including aircraft pavement, airfield signs and markings and reporting the findings to the officer on duty; Guiding and navigating aircraft as required ensuring the safe navigation of aircraft around the airport; Responding promptly to emergencies or incidents following established procedures and coordinating with the appropriate authorities; Monitoring and inspecting the movement areas and taking the necessary action to assure aviation safety; Carrying out wildlife inspections and sweeping duties of aprons, taxiways and runways as scheduled or as may be required; Effectively communicate with air traffic control, and ground staff ensuring smooth operations and compliance with aviation procedures.
