Description AirNet II is a renowned aviation leader and part of the Kalitta family of companies, specializing in scheduled and on-demand cargo charter services. The position will be based in Chesterfield, MO (SUS). Operating a fleet of Beechcraft Barons and Bombardier Learjets, AirNet II is a premier provider of industries that require immediate turn-time and specialized handling. Job Summary: AirNet II A&P Mechanics will insures inspections, servicing, repairs and maintenance are performed in accordance with the appropriate aircraft maintenance manual, company policies and procedures, and the Repair Station manual. Functions/Responsibility: • Preflight and post flight checks for the aircraft • Discrepancy repair on the aircraft • Safely work in a shop environment using tools and equipment as necessary • Complete assigned tasks outdoors and in inclement weather if required • Insure that work performed gets inspected by the appropriate aircraft inspection personnel • Complete required documentation for work performed • Inspect, troubleshoot, adjust and repair aircraft and/or engines as assigned • Complete required training as assigned • Maintain a clean and organized work environment • Use basic computer skills to complete and document tasks • Work productively individually or with an assigned crew • Works with integrity and desire to maintain a high quality standard • Report failures or deficiencies immediately • Pass background check and random DOT drug testing • Overtime and/or weekend work may be required Requirements Education Requirements: • Candidates must have a High School Diploma or GED Qualifications, Certificates, Licenses & Document Requirements: • A valid unrestricted driver’s license • A&P License Experience & Professional Skill: • At least 3 years of maintenance experience • Experience with Baron, Falcons, and Learjet 30 series, preferred Work Environment & Culture Skills: • Must pass DOT/FAA pre-employment drug screen and a DOT/FAA compliant background check • Understand, read and write English • Reliable, punctual, flexible, motivated, resourceful, energetic, organized and able to manage and be managed • Ability to multi-task, respect, and maintain confidentiality • Service oriented and able to work at a fast pace and handle stress and problematic issues well with a good attitude • Communicate effectively and work within a team-focused environment Physical Requirements: The physical demands described here are representative of those that must be met by an employee to successfully perform the essential functions of this job. • Light to moderate lifting is required • Must be able to climb and use a ladder, work stands, platforms and lift equipment • Work within a confined workspace(s) Location Requirements: • Operation based in Chesterfield, MO at Spirit of St Louis Airport (SUS) • There is no ability to work from home • There will be no relocation package for this position Other Requirements: • Must have jet experience • Must be at least 18 years of age • Must be legally authorized to work in the United States Schedule: • Day Shift Benefits: • Employer Provided: • Short Term Disability • Employee Assistance Program (EAP) • Basic Life Insurance with Accidental Death & Dismemberment Insurance • Travel Assistance Program • Cancer Expert Now • Fidelity 401K with match • Employee Elective: • BCBS – Medical 500 PPO and 1000 PPO options, Dental PPO, Prescription, Telehealth • Eye Med - Vision • Flexible Spending Account – Medical and Dependent Care • Long Term Disability • Lincoln Life Insurance for Employee, Spouse, and Child • Lincoln Accident and Critical Illness Insurance for Employee, Spouse, and Child • Lincoln Hospital Indemnity for Employee, Spouse, and Child • Met Law Coverage • Nationwide Voluntary Pet Insurance
