VP Aviation is hiring Aircraft Structures Mechanics to support aircraft maintenance programs in Greenville, SC. This is an opportunity to support aircraft structural work involving fabrication, assembly, installation, and repair of aircraft components, including flight controls, skins, and structural assemblies. Assignments may include fighter aircraft like F-16 or military transport aircraft like C-130 depending on current program needs. What You'll Do • Perform aircraft sheet metal and structural repairs • Fabricate, assemble, and install structural components • Work on flight control surfaces, skins, and airframe structures • Interpret blueprints, engineering drawings, and technical data • Perform precision drilling, reaming, and countersinking • Install fasteners including rivets and structural hardware • Trim, fit, and align structural components • Support modification, production, and repair work • Use precision measuring tools to ensure proper fit and finish Skills and Experience We're Looking For • 4+ years of aircraft structures or sheet metal experience preferred • Experience with fabrication, assembly, and structural repair • Precision drilling, riveting, and fastener installation experience • Ability to read and interpret blueprints and engineering drawings • Fighter or military transport aircraft experience is a plus • Production, modification, or backshop experience is a plus • Strong attention to detail and workmanship • Ability to work in a team environment • Must be able to pass background check and onboarding requirements Pay • Weekly pay ranges from $1,280 to $1,520 at 40 hours, not including OT, based on experience and program • Overtime may be available depending on assignment Why Work With VP Aviation?
