What you will do Johnson Controls is seeking an Air Cooled Chiller Technical Specialist to play a key role in supporting the innovation and performance of our world-class chiller portfolio. In this hands-on position, you'll collaborate with engineering teams, troubleshoot complex chiller systems, coordinate testing activities, and help bring new product enhancements to life. If you're passionate about chiller technology, enjoy problem-solving, working with design teams, managing parts and components, and developing test plans in a lab environment, this is an exciting opportunity to make a direct impact on industry-leading products. This position is based onsite in our Advanced Engineering and Development Center in New Freedom, PA. Candidates must be commuting distance to the facility, or able to relocate. Only US Citizens and Permanent Residents of the US will be considered for this position. How you will do it • Lead s   component, sub-system, and complete chiller test set-up,   communicates test plans to test lab operators ,   monitor s   test   progress, assists   test plan creation . • Arranges   for   procurement and fabrication of parts . • Organize s   test data and evaluate s   for measurement accuracy and test plan applicability . • Coordinates   between departments to design, build, components, sub-systems, and chillers   for testing purpose . • Creates   sketches for drafting and lab for the design of chiller components, sub-systems, and test set-ups . • Trouble shoot problematic   chillers,   sub-systems, and   components and recommend solutions. • Communicates   technical information in written, verbal, and graphical form in a clear and precise manner • Learns   codes and standards related to role . • Manage   complex test - related   projects   to ensure   on-time completion   . • Generates technical documentation   related to chiller and component tests. What you will need Required • 5+ years related experiences • Knowledge of   refrigeration system operation,   fabrication and service processes • Knowledge of mechanical components and systems ,   such as   metal structures , machinery,   and   fluid flow • Familiar with product development process. • Strong mechanical aptitude. HIRING HOURLY RANGE: $70,000 - $85,000 (Hourly rate to be determined by the education, experience, knowledge, skills, and abilities of the applicant, internal equity, and alignment with market data.) This position includes a competitive benefits package. The posted salary range reflects the target compensation for this role.
