This role involves working on a variety of high-quality HVAC systems, including DAIKIN, ALTHERMA, and VRV/VRF splits. It’s an excellent opportunity for an experienced engineer to take ownership of installations, mentor technicians, and ensure exceptional service delivery. Key Responsibilities: • Lead and coordinate air conditioning system installations, ensuring compliance with safety and project specifications. • Survey sites, assess risks, and prepare detailed installation plans. • Order materials, arrange deliveries, and oversee subcontractors, crane lifts, and scaffolding when required. • Interpret HVAC schematics, design plans, and technical drawings accurately. • Supervise, coach, and mentor installation technicians to develop team skills. • Perform system testing, commissioning, and calibration to guarantee optimal performance. • Maintain comprehensive records, technical reports, and compliance documentation. • Collaborate with project managers, property maintenance teams, and clients to ensure timely project completion. Requirements: • City & Guilds qualifications and F-GAS certification essential. • Proven experience leading installation teams in HVAC or related mechanical fields. • Strong mechanical skills, including brazing, pipe bending, and refrigeration systems knowledge. • Experience interpreting schematics, electrical diagrams, and HVAC design principles. • Service technician experience is highly desirable. • Ability to travel to sites across the UK, including overnight stays if required. • Valid driver’s license with a clean record. • Excellent leadership, communication, and team management skills.
