Working remotely, the part-time AI Tutor - Hausa will focus on training and refining multilingual audio capabilities for AI systems by curating and annotating high-quality audio data, translating text from English to Hausa, and collaborating with technical teams to enhance speech recognition and processing. Key responsibilities • Provide labels, annotations, and recordings for multilingual audio clips and speech samples • Translate and localize text from English into Hausa, ensuring accuracy and cultural relevance • Collaborate with technical staff to improve AI's handling of speech modulation and multilingual audio processing Required qualifications • Native proficiency in Hausa with knowledge of diverse accents and dialects • Proficiency in English (minimum B2 level) suitable for audio recording • Strong auditory perception to identify nuances in speech and audio quality • Experience in transcribing audio with high accuracy across varying qualities • Ability to translate and localize text accurately between English and Hausa
