Overview The AI Automation & Workflow Engineer will be responsible for designing, building, implementing, and maintaining artificial intelligence solutions, automated workflows, system integrations, and operational tools across Pacific Health Group. This individual will work closely with executive leadership, department directors, managers, information technology, compliance, data administration, billing, member engagement, clinical operations, human resources, marketing, and other departments to identify inefficiencies and convert manual or fragmented processes into secure, scalable, and measurable workflows. The ideal candidate combines AI engineering, workflow architecture, systems integration, business process analysis, and hands-on automation development. This position requires someone who can understand how a department operates, map its processes, recommend improvements, build the appropriate solution, test it, document it, and support adoption. This role is not limited to configuring prompts or basic no-code automations. The AI Automation & Workflow Engineer must be capable of creating production-ready solutions using APIs, databases, webhooks, AI models, automation platforms, custom code, and enterprise applications. Key Responsibilities AI Strategy & Solution Development Evaluate organizational processes and identify opportunities where artificial intelligence can reduce administrative burden, improve accuracy, accelerate decision-making, or strengthen service delivery. Design and build AI-powered assistants, agents, copilots, knowledge systems, document-processing tools, and decision-support applications. Develop secure generative AI solutions using platforms and models such as OpenAI, Anthropic Claude, Google Gemini, Microsoft Copilot, and other approved technologies. Create retrieval-augmented generation systems that allow authorized users to securely search policies, procedures, training materials, operational records, and organizational knowledge. Build AI solutions that summarize information, classify records, extract structured data, draft documentation, route work, identify exceptions, and recommend next actions. Evaluate AI tools, models, vendors, and emerging technologies for functionality, security, scalability, cost, and organizational fit. Develop standards for prompt engineering, model selection, AI testing, human review, error handling, and responsible AI usage. Maintain awareness of current developments in artificial intelligence and translate relevant innovations into practical organizational solutions. Workflow Analysis & Process Improvement Meet with departmental stakeholders to understand existing workflows, pain points, operational requirements, dependencies, and performance expectations. Create detailed current-state and future-state workflow maps. Identify redundant steps, bottlenecks, manual handoffs, duplicate data entry, communication gaps, and preventable delays. Redesign workf
