We’re building an AI-native security platform that enables autonomous agents to investigate real-world threats at a massive scale.   We’re looking for a hands-on AI Engineering Team Lead to define the technical direction, architecture, and engineering foundations behind agentic AI systems designed to solve complex cybersecurity investigation challenges . You’ll shape how autonomous agents reason through security events, use tools, evaluate findings, interact with real security data, and operate reliably at scale. This is not an LLM integration role; it’s about architecting production-grade systems at the intersection of Python backend engineering, distributed architecture, agent orchestration, evaluations, and cybersecurity. You’ll lead a strong team while staying deep in the code, owning the architectural decisions and technical foundations that enable AI agents to investigate and respond to real-world threats.   What You’ll Do   : Lead the architecture and development of production-grade AI agent systems that investigate real-world security events Build the core infrastructure powering agent workflows, tool-calling, reasoning flows, evaluations, and system orchestration Own complex engineering problems around reliability, latency, observability, scale, and production quality Stay hands-on with Python backend development, system design, and technical decision-making Design distributed, cloud-native services that support AI-driven investigations at scale Translate ambiguous AI/product/security challenges into clear technical solutions and executable engineering plans Mentor and lead a strong team of engineers while setting a high technical bar Partner closely with Product, Security, Design, and business stakeholders to turn real customer problems into robust AI-powered capabilities Continuously improve how agents are tested, evaluated, monitored, and trusted in production environments   What You'll Need : 5+ years of experience in software engineering,  backend development , or  AI/ML systems Experience leading engineers, mentoring developers, or taking technical ownership of complex projects Hands-on experience building scalable backend systems or distributed architectures Experience building or integrating AI/ML capabilities into production systems Familiarity with LLMs, GenAI technologies, or modern AI frameworks Experience working with production environments  (performance, reliability, monitoring) Strong programming skills ( Python preferred ) Experience designing scalable system architectures and technical solutions Experience working in fast-paced startups or high-growth environments - advantage Professional fluency in English and Hebrew   Nice to have : Experience with AI agents, agent orchestration, tool-calling, reasoning workflows, or evaluation frameworks Experience building GenAI infrastructure, LLM platforms, RAG systems, or AI runtime environments Background in cybersecurity, SOC, threat detection, incident response, or secur
