Description
PrimeSites is seeking a detail-oriented Compliance Associate to support affordable housing communities by ensuring compliance with federal, state, and local affordable housing regulations. This position is responsible for processing and reviewing resident certifications, maintaining accurate compliance records, and partnering with Property Managers to ensure program requirements are met. The Compliance Associate plays a vital role in maintaining the integrity of our affordable housing portfolio by ensuring resident files are accurate, complete, and audit-ready. Key Responsibilities • Process and review initial, annual, and interim resident certifications. • Verify household income, assets, and eligibility for affordable housing programs. • Review resident files for accuracy, completeness, and regulatory compliance. • Ensure certifications are completed within required deadlines. • Communicate with Property Managers regarding missing documentation and file corrections. • Maintain organized electronic and physical compliance records. • Assist with agency, syndicator, lender, and investor audits. • Monitor regulatory deadlines and compliance reporting requirements. • Stay current on affordable housing regulations and company policies. • Provide exceptional customer service to applicants, residents, and onsite teams. Required Qualifications • 1-3 years of affordable housing compliance experience preferred. • Knowledge of LIHTC regulations preferred. • Experience with HOME, HTF, HUD, or Section 8 programs is a plus. • Strong attention to detail and organizational skills. • Excellent communication and customer service skills. • Ability to prioritize multiple deadlines. • Proficiency with Microsoft Office. • Experience with property management or compliance software preferred. • Must provide three professional references. • Successful completion of a criminal background check.
