About the position Using state-of-the-art remote sensing technology, we transform spatial data into practical knowledge that supports essential operations in resource assessment and mitigation, transportation, utilities, emergency and asset management, and infrastructure development. Fugro is in search of a highly skilled Aerial Survey Pilot to serve as the pilot in command for our geospatial mapping service line. Fugro will not provide sponsorship/work authorization for this job opportunity. Job Responsibilities Lead by example and place Quality, Health & Safety, Security, and the protection of the Environment as core values while never intentionally placing employees, our processes, customers, or the communities in which we live and work at risk. Responsible for flying aerial mapping missions and coordinating airspace with ATC. Position is in Rapid City, SD; however, relocation is not necessary. Responsibilities • flying aerial mapping missions • coordinating airspace with ATC Requirements • Legally authorized to work in the United States, without restrictions. • At a minimum, candidates must hold a Multi-Engine Commercial Pilot Certificate, IFR Rating, passport, and valid driver's license • The candidate should have professional aerial mapping experience as a pilot in command experience to safely conduct flight operations. • fundamental knowledge of computer operations • possess strong interpersonal and communication skills • can travel internationally • Extensive travel, for long periods (30-45 days), often at times with little notice. Nice-to-haves • Multi-Engine FAA ATP is preferred. • Desired candidates will have a minimum of 500 hours total flight time, 50 multi-engine hours. • Preferred is 750 hours total flight time, 100 multi-engine hours. • Experience in C-441, C-310, and/or PA-31-350 is desired.
