Description
Harlem Children’s Zone (HCZ) — a world-renowned education and poverty-fighting organization based in New York — seeks an enthusiastic, dedicated, and mission-aligned Advocacy Coordinator to support our After-School programs.  The Advocacy Coordinator will bring a passion for the mission of Harlem Children's Zone: breaking the cycle of intergenerational poverty with comprehensive, on-the-ground programming that builds up opportunities for children and families to thrive in school, work, and life. We are currently seeking an Advocacy Coordinator to provide complete oversight of the program's academic enrichment and support components.  The Advocacy Coordinator will ensure program participants receive needed mentorship, academic support, social-emotional support, career readiness, college prep, life skills, and multicultural exposures to prepare them for college and careers.
