The Opportunity
We are seeking both experienced and early-career Physician Assistants (PAs) and Family Nurse Practitioners (FNPs) who are motivated to grow, lead, and make a meaningful impact in a fast-paced, urgent care environment. At ConvenientMD, the Advanced Practitioner Level 2 (AP2) role is designed for clinicians ready to take the next step; combining strong clinical independence with leadership and mentorship. You’ll serve as a trusted clinical resource, driving quality initiatives, supporting team development, and contributing to operational excellence, while practicing with a high level of autonomy, including as the sole on-site provider when needed. In this role, you’ll also leverage your experience to mentor newer clinicians, all while benefiting from the support of lead providers and physicians to ensure safe, efficient, and exceptional patient care.
Your Impact
Deliver High-Quality Patient Care
Provide comprehensive, evidence-based urgent care to patients across the lifespan
Independently assess, diagnose, and manage a wide range of acute and chronic conditions
Order, perform, and interpret diagnostic studies and implement appropriate treatment plans
Maintain competency across all urgent care clinical services
Ensure Clinical Excellence & Compliance
Complete accurate, timely, and thorough documentation in the EMR
Maintain compliance with chart audit standards and clinical guidelines
Stay current with urgent care best practices, trends, and evolving clinical standards
Lead & Mentor
Serve as a clinical resource for AP1s and new providers
Participate in onboarding, coaching, and mentorship initiatives
Support the development and growth of team members
Drive Operational Excellence
Identify opportunities to improve clinic flow, reduce wait times, and enhance provider efficiency
Collaborate with clinic leadership on workflow optimization and team dynamics
Support clinic coverage needs with flexibility while maintaining high standards of care
Adhere to regional floating and coverage expectations, including supporting nearby clinics as needed
Additional Responsibilities
Contribute to ongoing quality improvement initiatives
Support a positive clinic culture and team environment
Perform other duties as assigned
Who You Are
Education, Licensure, & Certifications:
Master's degree and certification by Physician Assistant (PA) or Family Nurse Practitioner (FNP) certifying body.
Must have and maintain a DEA license with no restrictions.
Basic Life Support (BLS) certification: American Heart Association or American
