Advanced Practitioner – Child in Need Team – Leicester City Council Location: Leicester Pay/Salary: up to £40 per hour Office Working: 3 Days per week Contract: Locum We are currently working with Leicester City Council to find experienced Advanced Practitioners for their Child in Need team in Children’s Services. With a stable management team and a mostly permanent workforce, Leicester are looking for someone with solid experience to be able to work directly with children and families to achieve positive outcomes, alongside a key leadership role in supporting and developing practitioners across the service. Duties • Completing Section 47’s and section 17 enquiries • Undertake Section 7and 37 reports, as well as attending Court, and providing analysis and evidence-based recommendations • Long term engagement with families, including direct work, capturing the voice of the child • Write conference reports and attend conferences, such as Core Group Meetings • Supporting, mentoring, and coaching less experienced practitioners What you need • Social Work Qualification • Social Work England registration • Enhanced DBS (provided by us) Why use us?
