Description
Liquid Personnel is recruiting an Adult Social Workers to join its client’s team, based in Cornwall.
What will your responsibilities be?
In this role, you will:
Provide a statutory social work service to adults with health and social care needs under the leadership of the Team Manager / Principal Social Worker
Complete high‑quality, timely, and person‑centred needs assessments reflecting individual needs and risks
Undertake analysis, care planning, intervention, and review in line with the work of the team or service unit
Work collaboratively with colleagues across different teams, disciplines, and partner organisations to deliver a seamless service
Work in partnership with individuals, families, and carers facing complex social and family crises across a range of settings
Promote autonomy, development, and inclusion for individuals with complex needs who are more vulnerable to exclusion
Work with communities, individuals, and families to identify and promote personal strengths
Qualifications & Experience:
Professional Qualification: A recognised professional qualification in social work, such as an MA, BA, BSc in Social Work, Diploma in Social Work, or CQSW (Certificate of Qualification in Social Work).
Registration: Must be registered with Social Work England, the regulatory body for social workers in England.
Experience: 2+ years post qualified experience as an adult social worker in a statutory setting.
Knowledge of Legislation: Thorough understanding of relevant legislation, such as the Care Act 2014 and the Mental Capacity Act 2005.
Skills: Strong assessment and analysis skills, as well as the ability to work effectively within a multidisciplinary team.
Driving Licence: A full UK driving licence and access to a car are often required for client visits.
