This is a pivotal role for someone who can balance professionalism with empathy, supporting families through one of the most important decisions they will ever make.
If you excel at relationship‑building, communication, and managing fast‑paced enquiry pipelines, this role offers the opportunity to make a meaningful impact every day.
As Admissions Manager, you will take ownership of all enquiries from first contact to successful move‑in. You will manage the enquiry pipeline, build strong relationships with professionals, and ensure every family receives a warm, person‑centred experience.
You will work closely with Home Managers, the Quality Assurance Team, and senior leadership to drive occupancy, improve conversion rates, and maintain high standards of documentation and communication.
Key Responsibilities
Managing enquiries — responding promptly and compassionately to all bed enquiries across the group.
CRM & pipeline management — maintaining accurate logs, tracking conversions, and analysing trends.
Professional relationship‑building — working with social workers, brokerage teams, discharge coordinators, and Local Authorities.
Home tours & assessments — supporting families to make informed decisions.
Collaboration with Home Managers — ensuring smooth, person‑centred admissions.
Reporting — producing regular reports on enquiries, occupancy, and market trends.
Marketing & community engagement — supporting events, outreach, and promotional activities.
Compliance & documentation — ensuring all records meet organisational and regulatory standards.
Safeguarding & confidentiality — handling sensitive information appropriately.
Occupancy improvement — identifying barriers and implementing solutions.
Internal communication — strengthening links between homes, head office, and external partners.
Qualifications & Skills
Experience in admissions, referrals, community outreach, or care coordination within health or social care.
Strong understanding of the care home admissions process.
Proven ability to build positive relationships with families and professionals.
Excellent communication skills, especially in sensitive or emotional conversations.
Experience managing enquiry pipelines or CRM systems.
Strong organisational skills and attention to detail.
