Admissions Coordinator (Bilingual – English & Spanish) Position Type: Full-Time, Remote Working Hours: U.S. Business Hours About the Role We are looking for a bilingual Admissions Coordinator to serve as the first point of contact for prospective students interested in our vocational training programs. This is an inbound sales and enrollment role where your primary responsibility is to guide prospective students through the admissions process—from their initial inquiry to enrollment. You will answer questions, recommend the right program based on each student's goals, explain available funding options, and help students confidently take the next step in their education. The ideal candidate is a confident communicator in both English and Spanish , enjoys helping people make important life decisions, and has experience converting inbound inquiries into enrollments through a consultative sales approach. Responsibilities Student Admissions & Enrollment Answer inbound calls from prospective students in English or Spanish. Qualify each student's goals, career interests, and enrollment timeline. Recommend the most suitable training program across both campuses. Guide prospective students through the admissions and enrollment process. Complete enrollments during the initial call whenever possible. Send enrollment paperwork and clearly explain the next steps. Student Consultation Explain program details, including curriculum, schedules, program length, start dates, and career outcomes. Educate students about available financial assistance and funding options, including VA Education Benefits and applicable state workforce programs. Address objections related to tuition, timing, or career concerns with confidence and professionalism. Lead Follow-Up Follow up with prospective students who have not yet enrolled. Maintain regular communication until a final enrollment decision is made. Build trust and provide ongoing support throughout the decision-making process. CRM & Administrative Support Maintain accurate records of calls, student information, and enrollment progress within the CRM or admissions system. Coordinate with campus staff regarding class availability, upcoming start dates, and onboarding requirements. Ensure all student records remain accurate and up to date. You communicate fluently in both English and Spanish. You stay organized and manage multiple prospective students simultaneously. Required Experience & Skills Must-Have Fully bilingual in English and Spanish (spoken and written). 2+ years of experience in admissions, enrollment, inside sales, phone sales, or a consultative sales role. Proven ability to handle objections and close sales or enrollments over the phone. Strong communication and active listening skills. Experience using CRM or call-tracking systems. Excellent organizational and follow-up skills. Professional phone presence and customer service skills. Reliable internet connection and a quiet home office. Nice-to-Have Previous admissions or enrollment experience at a vocational, trade, or career school. Knowledge of VA Education Benefits or state workforce funding programs.
