Description
Kirk Market is now recruiting for an Administrative Clerk to join our Costing & Logistics Team. Job Duties • Request or compile necessary import documentation from suppliers, freight forwarder, shipping companies, etc. • Use Customs Online System (COLS) to preclear & submit final declaration for shipments imported. • Maintain and update internal Logistic electronic files. • Reconcile and arrange for payment of related invoices. • Coordinate and provide loading instructions to consolidators/suppliers for air and sea shipments. • Communicate with different departments for any potential damage or delay in shipments. • Assist with other tasks as assigned by Management. Job Requirements • High school degree or above. • Previous experience in a similar role is desirable but must have previous administrative experience of at least 1-2 years. • Must have excellent analytical skills. • Must have great attention to detail. • Proficiency in Microsoft Excel, Word & Outlook. • Excellent ability to adapt to difficult situations. • Excellent organizational and time management skills. • Strong written and verbal communication skills in English and ability to interact effectively with internal and external customers. Please note that shortlisted candidates invited for an interview will be required to complete a short administrative and Microsoft Excel assessment. The purpose of the assessment is to evaluate written communication skills, attention to detail, and basic proficiency with Excel functions. Work Hours: 40 hour work week. Willingness to work weekends, public holidays and flexible hours if required. Compensation: CI$10.00 – 12.00 per hour, depending on experience.
