Sherman's: Proudly Not Normal Since '76 (and   Counting!) Forget everything you think you know about retail. Back in '76, while the world was doing its thing, Sharon Sherman was busy building something different – a side hustle selling clocks and gifts with a whole lot of heart. Fast-forward   nearly half   a   century, and   Sherman's has blossomed into four locations packed with home appliances, furniture, and mattresses. Sure,   we've   grown beyond microwaves, but our family values? Rock solid.  Show Concern. Have Fun. Be Helpful. Demonstrate Integrity. Show Ambition. Develop Relationships.  These   aren't   just words on a wall;   they're   the fuel that keeps us going. Why are we here?  Because   we're   genuinely passionate about our community.   We're   the neighbors who help you turn houses into homes. And it all started because Sharon dared to be different. Now, about you. You're   the person   people naturally rely   on. Organized . Helpful. Proactive. A full inbox   doesn't   intimidate you. Neither does   juggling   five different priorities at once. Checking something off your   to-do list? That's   oddly satisfying, right? About the Role You'll   be one of the store management team's   most trusted partners,   keeping the business organized   and moving forward. The management team relies on you to provide   proactive support. Whether   it's   noticing   recurring customer concerns, identifying   procedural   inefficiencies, or   recognizing trends in reporting,   you're   someone who   doesn't   just complete tasks   - you   think ahead. The work you do behind the scenes makes everything in front of the customer feel effortless. What You'll Do You’ll   make sure the countless details that keep a busy retail store running   don't   fall through the cracks. • Keep the Store Running Smoothly:   Balance daily deposits, generate reports,   assist   with store goals, and help ensure day-to-day operations stay organized. • Welcome Every Guest:   Be one of the first faces customers   see, creating a friendly, professional first impression. • Support the Sales Team:   Manage internet sales inquiries, prepare information, answer questions, and help remove obstacles so the team can focus on serving customers. • Own the Details:   Order supplies,   maintain   accurate   records, and follow through to ensure nothing slips through the cracks. • Communicate Constantly:   Work with customers, sales professionals, managers, and other departments to keep everyone informed and projects moving forward. • Adapt Throughout the Day:   Priorities change. New requests come in.   You'll   shift gears while staying organized and   maintaining   accuracy. This Role Matters Your job   isn’t   to “stay busy.” Your greatest contribution   isn't   checking administrative tasks off a list. It's   creating   the   confidence   that allows   your team to do their best work. When reports are   timely   and accurate, managers make better decisions. When the sales team has the information they need, they can focus on serving customers. When details are organized, customers experience the difference. When communication is proactive, problems get solved faster. Every day requires   collaboration, sound judgment, and follow-through   - because   you know   great teams   don’t   happen by accident. What We're Looking For • Strong organizational and time management skills. • Comfortable managing multiple priorities simultaneously. • Excellent communication and customer service skills. • High attention to detail and accuracy. • Comfortable using Microsoft Office, Outlook, and Excel. • Administrative experience is preferred If you enjoy helping people and being an essential part of a team,   we'd   love to meet you. Apply today! Equal Opportunity Employer. Pre-employment background check   required.
