JOB DESCRIPTION AND POSITION REQUIREMENTS Penn State Altoona invites applications for a part-time adjunct instructor position in Mechanical Engineering beginning in Fall semester of 2026 (starting August). Teaching responsibilities will be two courses; one section of ME 370 (Vibration of Mechanical Systems) meeting on Monday, Wednesday, and Friday   10:10AM-11:00AM and  one section of ME 450 (Modeling of Dynamic Systems) meeting Monday, Wednesday, and Friday 1:25PM-2:15PM. The preferred qualifications include a Ph.D. in Mechanical Engineering or a related field; doctoral students who are ABD may be considered. 20 hours per week of work are required for the position.
