Job Title Adjunct Faculty, Studio Art and Art History Agency Texas A&M University - Kingsville Department Department Of Art, Comm, & Theatre Proposed Minimum Salary Commensurate Job Location Kingsville, Texas Job Type Faculty Job Description Job Summary The Art, Communications, and Theatre (ACT) Department at Texas A&M University-Kingsville is accepting applications for Dual Enrollment Lecturers in Art History and Studio Courses. Dual Enrollment courses across the Coastal Bend & South Texas region are possible assignments. • Lecturer will teach lower level Art Courses as needed by the department. • Art History classes will be taught as needed. Studio Art courses will be taught in Kingsville on campus. Minimum Requirements • A Master's degree in the field of Art from a regionally accredited institution or university. • Must have a minimum of 18 graduate hours for each field that they teach. • Experience teaching Art History and/or Studio Art courses at the university level. Prior to issuing a letter of appointment, official transcripts must be received directly from each degree-granting institution by the Office of the Provost, Texas A&M University-Kingsville, MSC 102, Kingsville, Texas 78363-8202. However, for review of the application, applicants must submit unofficial transcripts from each institution of higher education attended within their application. If transcripts are from an international institution, it is the responsibility of the prospective faculty member to have the transcripts translated and evaluated by an approved credential evaluator (AACRAO): http://www.aacrao.org/international/foreignEdCred.cfm All positions are security-sensitive.
