Doctors Hospital of Augusta is seeking an experienced physician leader to serve as the Program Director for a new Transitional Year Residency Program. This is a unique opportunity to help build and shape a residency program from the ground up while joining one of Georgia's leading hospitals and a rapidly expanding GME environment.

Qualified Candidates
• Board Certified or Board Eligible in an applicable ABMS specialty such as Internal Medicine
• Minimum of 3 years of educational and/or administrative leadership experience
• Strong team-building, communication, and organizational skills
• Eligible for or able to obtain an unrestricted Georgia medical license
• Lead the development, administration, and growth of the Transitional Year Residency Program
• Maintain ACGME accreditation, compliance, and educational excellence
• Recruit, mentor, and evaluate residents
• Develop curriculum, policies, and educational initiatives
• Coordinate rotations across multiple specialties and departments
• Foster an educational environment that supports diverse specialty career pathways
