Job description Our client, based in Erdington , is currently recruiting for a Finance Team Leader (Accounts Payable) on a permanent contract. The position is due to start ASAP and the salary is £33,296. This will be an office based role in Erdington. The ideal candidate will have a background in accounts payable and previous supervisory/team leader experience. Duties will include (but are not limited to): • Assisting in delivering accounting functions mainly on Accounts Payable and to assist on Accounts Receivable, Credit Control, Rent Income and Bank and any other adhoc duties where required • Line managing one Finance Assistant (Accounts Payable) • Maintaining robust financial processes, ensuring a strong audit trail for all transactions • Processing transactions within agreed time scales • Processing BACS payment runs and other ad hoc payments • Working with and creating a culture of delivery and process improvement • Ensuring accuracy in processing of transactional data and good quality process notes for all processes • Assisting in year-end audit work Experience required: • Strong accounts payable background • Previous position in a team leader/supervisor role Rewards and benefits: • 26 days annual leave plus bank holidays (and the option to buy 5 more) • Day off for your birthday • 4 days off to move home • Life assurance (3x salary) • Employee Assistance Progamme Working hours: • 37.5 hours per week • Monday – Friday, 9am-5pm Please note that you require recent experience to apply for this role.
